Since adopting ZapCap, Jessica’s team has seen a dramatic improvement in both productivity and customer satisfaction. In fact, ZapCap’s subtitles are by far the most popular requests among customers.

Q&A Section

Hey! Can you introduce yourself?

“Of course, I’m Jessica, and I run Videolize, where we help brands create engaging video content, mainly for social media. We focus primarily on growing YouTube channels, so we are well-versed in what makes a channel or brand grow.

Our clients are usually small or medium-sized businesses who don’t have in-house editing teams. We do everything from creating content, managing channels and maximizing revenue for customers.”

What was your biggest struggle before using ZapCap?

“Honestly, the biggest challenge was finding something simple to edit videos. When you’re using tools like Adobe Premiere, iMovie, or DaVinci Resolve, one thing they all miss is a good way to add subtitles. It’s just a horrible, manual process.

Actually… Subtitles are so underrated and I feel like not many people get this. It’s not just captions to better understand when someone is talking. They make a huge impact, including retention and engagement.

ZapCap Templates

Like, if you look at Mr. Beast or Alex Hormozi, they have distinct subtitles. When you use similar styles, people already have a positive impact even before watching your video. It’s the halo effect.”

How has ZapCap made things easier for you?

“Well, with ZapCap, everything is already set up for me. If a customer asks for Alex Hormozi style subtitles and fonts or something like Ali Abdaal’s—it’s already inbuilt. I don’t have to waste time creating everything from scratch. I love how I can customize them as well, if a customer asks for spooky subtitles, I’ll use a template thats glowing white with subtle animation.

Plus, it has some amazing features like auto-emojis, automatic B-roll, and sound effects. It’s basically an all-in-one tool with the most straightforward interface I’ve ever used. I actually suggested it to a customer in his 60s who has very little computer experience.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention—the language options. I have customers who speak different languages, and they want videos in more than just English. ZapCap’s subtitles are way more accurate than other apps—like 99% accurate. I get a ton of requests for accurate Spanish subtitles, so that’s definitely a help!”

What specific results have you seen since switching to ZapCap?

“Honestly, it’s boosted my revenue by 400% in the past year… I’ve been able to grow my team!“

“It’s also saved me a ton of time, and the ability to customize everything to fit my style has really helped me stand out in a crowded market.

One of the best parts, though, is seeing the impact it has on my customers’ YouTube channels. From the analytics we’ve gathered, engagement has jumped by about 20%, which is huge! That’s the whole point, right?

And because of that, I’ve had way more clients coming back for repeat business. It’s been a win-win all around!”

What advice would you offer to someone looking to begin creating content?

“Honestly, just start! Don’t overthink it. If you’re thinking about creating content to grow your business or brand, I’d recommend ZapCap as an affordable solution. You don’t need to hire an expert video editor or be one. Just turn on your camera, record yourself, upload the footage to ZapCap, and use their simple editor to get going. The auto B-roll feature is a lifesaver.

And if you’re starting something bigger, like a marketing agency or a business similar to mine, the key is to automate so you can focus on important aspects like marketing and networking. ZapCap is great for that. I know they’re even rolling out a feature that lets you clip long videos into shorts automatically.”

One more thing, what’s your favorite ZapCap subtitle design?

“It’s hard to choose, but my favorites are the ELLA and UMI templates. For my customers, though, the BEAST template is the clear favorite.

What I really like is how easy it is to tweak each template with my own fonts and colors to keep everything on-brand.”
